LMS Loan View Redesign
I redesigned the loan view and borrower info page for the Loan Management System (LMS) of a Fintech start-up.
The goal was to improve the UI and UX.
I revised the button location so it was visible across multiple tabs, as previously they were only accessible in the first tab.
I also revised button visibility dependent on permission level, and added some conditionals to the buttons to only allow them to be viewed/clicked when certain conditions were met to reduce visual clutter and accidental button clicks.
I opted for a sleeker design that ordered the data in a way that was more efficient for the end user.
For the borrower information, the address update input was a lookup connected to the Google Location API. I also added in checks so mobile/email couldn't be duplicated across users. An error message would occur and prevent the user from updating.
In the new design, the status, owner and repayment method are now updated by clicking the value in the Loan Setup section (Owner only able to be modified by Management/Admin users).
This system was designed and built in
Bubble.io using the pre-existing style guide for colour guidance. I also created the accompanying end user guides for these documents.
All data and stats are displayed are test data, hence missing or incomplete data. No real customer data or loan book statistics have been used.
